Before becoming a teacher I was a Exceptional Student Education Paraprofessional for 7 years. 

My name is Tamita McMillon. I am an Exceptional Student Education Teacher and I am a proud James A Shanks Tiger!  I am from Quincy, Florida and I received a Bachelors Degree and I  am currently pursuing my Master's Degree  in Psychology and I am certified to teach Exceptional Student Education. This is my second school term as a teacher after  working 7 years as a paraprofessional in the same area. I   have a true passion for working with our students . Helping each child' progress in all areas of their development-academic, social, language and motor-is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to  create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
